Ai Subtitle Studio processes your content on your device whenever possible. We collect minimal data to operate and improve the app. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your choices.
- User Content (on device): images, documents, audio/video you open or create in the app. By default, content is processed on your device and not uploaded to our servers.
- Diagnostics (usage analytics and crash logs): app version, device model, OS version, performance metrics, anonymized events (e.g., feature usage), crash reports.
- Purchases: purchase tokens, product identifiers, subscription status (no full payment details).
- Advertising (free tier): ad impressions/clicks from our ad partners. In Closed testing, only test ads are used.
- Provide core features (e.g., background removal, scanning, captioning)
- Manage purchases and subscriptions (restore, verify entitlement)
- Improve stability and performance (crash/ANR diagnostics)
- Show ads in the free tier (where enabled)
- Service providers (analytics, crash reporting, billing, ads) receive only the data needed to provide their services. We do not sell personal data.
- Legal compliance and safety when required by law.
We design features to run on-device. If a cloud fallback is required (not enabled by default), we will clearly disclose this in-app and in this policy.
- Opt out of analytics (where available in settings)
- Manage subscriptions and refunds via Google Play
- Delete local content by removing files within the app or uninstalling the app
Our apps are not directed to children under 13. If a child has provided personal data, contact us to request deletion.
We may update this policy as features evolve. We will post the new policy with an updated date.
